Call for Projects: Showcase Your Climate Education Work at COP30!
Are you a teacher, school principal, or inspector who has set up climate change education activities? Submit your project and seize the opportunity to present it at COP30 and to thousands of teachers!

The TeachersCOP is an international event created by the Office for Climate Education (OCE), to highlight to global decision-makers the work of teachers, the challenges they face and the key role they play in the global climate response.
Since its inception during COP26 in Glasgow, the TeachersCOP has grown steadily in visibility and impact. The second edition was held during COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, and the third—hosted at COP28 in Dubai—gathered more than 1,500 participants from across the globe. The fourth edition took place during COP29 in Azerbaijan, further solidifying the TeachersCOP as a key platform for teacher advocacy in climate education.

This year’s TeachersCOP is open to:
- Primary and secondary teachers
- Teacher trainers
- School directors
- Education inspectors
- Staff of Ministry of Education

2. Join and Vote at the TeachersCOP Event
The TeachersCOP is a hybrid event (both in-person and online), held live from the COP30 host country, during the international climate negotiations.
- Hundreds of teachers from around the globe will connect simultaneously.
- The event includes live interpretation in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.
- Attendees will discover climate education initiatives from around the world and vote for their top 4 projects, which will then be presented to global leaders at COP30 by the teams from OCE, VVOB, and Nova Escola.
If you submit a project, you will automatically be registered to participate in the TeachersCOP event online. Otherwise, a registration link will be shared in October.

After COP30, all participants will be invited to join the S-cool Links platform—a collaborative space to connect with climate educators, exchange ideas, and launch new projects. Our partner VVOB, will curate a selection of projects and joint activities that will foster dialogue and encourage the development of climate change education projects.
Bonus! Winners will receive a mini-grant (several hundred euros) to help scale up their initiatives!

By sharing your climate education projects and attending our TeachersCOP event, you become part of an international community of practice made of teachers who are passionate and committed to their students and their planet. You can also be a source of inspiration and find inspiration in the many projects shared by teachers around the world.
Finally, it is thanks to your projects and your daily commitment that we will be able to ensure that climate change education is part of the discussions at COP30. We will highlight them as good practices and as examples of the incredible creativity, resilience and adaptability that teachers can demonstrate.
Our goal is that all teachers have access to the resources and support necessary to be able to implement quality climate change education in their classes and establishments to teach tomorrow’s generations.
