The OCE participates in the 7th Meeting of UNESCO category 2 centers in education
The Office for Climate Education (OCE) has been invited by the Asia-Pacific Center for Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) to participate in the 7th annual Meeting of UNESCO Category 2 education centers on November 9th, in Paris.
The meeting is being organized in conjunction with the 42nd Session of the UNESCO General Conference and aims to bring together Category 2 education centers under the auspices of UNESCO. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss our strategic and communication practices while promoting collaboration between our organizations. Eric Guilyardi, President of the OCE, will present the current missions of the OCE as well as its action plan for the next five years.
In 2020, the Office for Climate Education became a category 2 center under the auspices of UNESCO. These centers are active in support of UNESCO’s strategic priorities and international development programmes. The OCE, as an education center, is contributing to the development of education globally by producing high-quality educational resources, training teachers and contributing to the implementation of international climate change education projects.
